It was with great pride that Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk Terminal sponsored the first UK Trade and Investment mission to Sierra Leone organised by DMA. The two day event saw in depth discussions from the private and public sectors with much emphasis given to the ongoing investment from foreign businesses showing a strong level of confidence in the West African Country’s future. The event featured an interesting tour of the NSBT concession area with a presentation given by Group Commercial Director, Mr Guy Wilkes.
Nectar Group Ltd. of the United Kingdom, has been present in Sierra Leone since the 1980’s and today is a key investor in the Sierra Leone infrastructure sector. The Group, through its local subsidiary, NSBT, employs over 95 Sierra Leoneans and invests heavily in training and development of its staff. The terminal handles a multitude of cargo types for both import and export shipments.
