As leaders in dry bulk cargo handling, Nectar Group spearheaded a FLEX CONTROL TRAINING COURSE at the Doraleh Multi-Purpose Port. This initiative underscores Nectar Group’s commitment to both operational excellence, Health and Safety and operative knowledge.
As a trusted port partner, Nectar Group understands that efficient cargo handling, especially in the challenging realm of dry bulk commodities, goes hand-in-hand with a robust safety culture.
This training programme, focusing on FLEX CONTROL, is designed to equip port operatives with the knowledge, expertise and skills necessary to minimise risks, optimise performance, and ensure the safe handling of dry bulk materials. Dust control, proper equipment operation, and awareness of material-specific hazards are key components of this essential training.
In the DMP terminal in Djibouti, Nectar Group designed and supplied the fixed lines of the blending systems. The training covered the blending system, mobile bagging and to a greater extent all the fixed lines and mobile gantry bagging units at the DMP Terminal. Our trainers focus on safety, weighing and dosing, installations and port setup, programming, loadcell applications, calibrations, software and practical sessions onsite. Our specialist team ensures safe and effective operations and maintenance of flexible cargo handling systems, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced downtime, and a safer working environment.
