Nectar Mozambique

A dedicated team of experienced specialists monitor the equipment

The efficiency of any port can be directly linked to the efficiency of the equipment therein and therefore the maintenance of all equipment is of high importance in ensuring this.

Maintenance. Consultancy. Procurement.

Nectar Group’s presence in Mozambique stretches to the complete maintenance of all container and bulk handling equipment employed by Beira Terminal. Nectar Group’s ability to ensure that equipment is maintained to the highest industry standards is second to none.

High standard maintenance

A dedicated team of experienced specialists monitor the equipment, taking pre-emptive or remedial action should it be required to ensure that the guaranteed levels of availability are met for equipment such as Ship to Shore Gantry cranes, giving the port operator piece of mind that they can rely on the equipment when it is most needed.

Nectar Group’s involvement encompasses all equipment throughout the terminal from Front End Loaders through to large Coal stackers and reclaimers therefore it is important that efficiency is kept to a maximum at all times. A team of managers ensure that personnel are adequately arranged to respond to any issues that may arise.

Procurement & Consultancy

Further to the maintenance, Nectar also provides the procurement of all spare parts from suppliers around the world to ensure that problems can be resolved with minimum or negligible down time which leads to a more efficient port and more consistent KPIs.

Nectar Group is further involved in the maintenance of other equipment in Mozambique. The Group has overhauled the Container ship to shore Gantry cranes and provides ongoing maintenance to ensure minimum downtime within the busy container port.
