Don’t miss out on this month’s issue of IBJ with full coverage of all the winners from ‘IBJ Awards 2025’. The maritime bulk industry ‘night of the year’ took place in front of a sold-out crowd in Liverpool on the 17th of November.
The 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 (𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴) was presented by CEO of MAG, Krzysztof Laskowski to Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk Terminal. A category reserved for organisations that demonstrate exceptional accomplishments within the global dry bulk sector.
The honour underscores NSBT’s successful completion of the new third berth at the Queen Elizabeth II Terminal, as well as the terminal’s ongoing developments, improved cargo handling efficiencies and continuous operational improvements.
In addition to this accolade, NSBT was shortlisted for the ‘Best Dry Bulk Port’ Award, a title it previously won in 2016. This nomination reflects the terminal’s outstanding performance, innovative approach, and commitment to excellence within the dry bulk industry on a regional and international level.
Accepting the award on behalf of the terminal, NSBT General Manager Siamba Kamara expressed appreciation, stating:
“We are profoundly honoured to receive this distinguished award. This award reaffirms our commitment, dedication and resilience to improving the standards of cargo handling.”
