We are pleased to share that Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk Terminal team sponsored a new water pump / borehole for the local Kanikay Police Post. To commemorate the new water pump, a ceremony was held on April 26th in the company of the M.P chiefs, NSBT and the local community members.
The local representatives kindly marked the event with a ceremonial plaque, inscribed ‘This Borehole has been constructed by Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk terminal. Handed over to Kanikay Community April 2023 by NSBT General Manager Shaun Naidoo.

Nectar Sierra Leone Bulk Terminal
NSBT is a subsidiary of Nectar Group Limited, a specialist privately owned bulk handling and terminal operator. Nectar Group’s history in Sierra Leone can be traced back to the 1980’s and it has been operating the bulk and break-bulk terminal at the Port of Freetown since 2015. The past eight years has seen substantial investments, improving the terminal’s facilities and productivity to support Sierra Leone Port’s Authorities desire to further progress the port.
NSBT is currently undertaking a New 3rd Berth Expansion Programme, which will accommodate vessels of 225 meters and 13 meters draft.
