NSBT Invest in Training and Port Safety

NSBT Invest in Training and Development to Strengthen Port Safety and Service Excellence

At NSBT, we believe that continuous learning is essential to safe, efficient and reliable terminal operations. That commitment is reflected in our ongoing training and development programmes, designed to strengthen employee capability, support operational excellence and enhance client service.

A cross-section of employees from various departments recently received certificates after successfully completing Defensive Driving training.

In addition, Momoh Conteh, Senior Electrician – successfully completed the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and Technicians Certification and Licensing Training – reinforcing technical skills in installing, servicing and safely managing cooling systems, while supporting compliance and improving reliability and safety.

These initiatives matter because a successful terminal relies on skilled people, safe working practices and continuous improvement. By investing in training, NSBT and Nectar Group are reducing risk, improving service consistency and ensuring client cargo is handled efficiently, safely and professionally.

Why training matters:

  • Safer operations help protect people, cargo and equipment
  • Better-trained teams support smoother and more reliable terminal performance
  • Stronger technical capability improves service quality and operational resilience
  • Continuous development helps the terminal adapt to changing industry demands and client expectations

At NSBT and Nectar Group, we remain committed to building a workforce that is equipped to deliver safe, effective and high-quality port services.
