It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Renu Sharma, formerly a Director and Shareholder of Nectar Group, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 16th July 2026.
Renu was part of Nectar Group for more than 30 years and played a central role in the company’s journey and achievements throughout that time. As Finance Director, she guided the business through many challenges and successes with dedication, loyalty, and quiet strength.
She was instrumental in helping Nectar establish a long-term presence in several overseas locations, including the Caribbean, Tanzania and, most notably, Mozambique. Renu always showed deep respect for local people and embraced their cultures, which enabled her to build lasting personal relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders, and helped support Nectar’s continued success.
Renu earned a strong reputation as a determined negotiator, always seeking to protect and promote the interests of the company and her colleagues in a professional and respectful manner. She will also be fondly remembered for her enjoyment of yoga, her love of music and dancing, and her infectious sense of fun.
It has been a privilege for all of us at Nectar Group, and for the current directors, to know Renu both as a valued colleague and as a friend. She was a very special person whose compassion, kindness, warmth and commitment touched many lives, and the memories she leaves behind will remain with us always.

‘Celebration of Life’ Service: Wednesday, 29th July 2026
A service of remembrance and celebration will take place next Wednesday, 29th July 2026, at New Southgate Crematorium, North London followed by a reception nearby. Friends and former colleagues are welcome to attend, and a live stream of the service will also be available.
