Nectar Group is pleased to share a recent update from our Director Han Ozturk and The International Dry Bulk Terminals Group (DBTG). Last Friday, Han Ozturk (DBTG Chairman) and
Paul Goris (DBTG Executive Director) attended the International Maritime Organization with a special briefing from IMO’sSecretary General, Mr. Arsenio Dominguez.
This briefing was dedicated to all NGO’s, that are represented within IMO. DBTG is active with the brand International Bulk Terminals Association (IBTA) and does represent the interests of CETOA (Coal Export Terminal Operators Association) as well.
Nectar Group is proud to be a member of the DBTG and IMO, promoting maritime safety and security and the prevention of marine and atmospheric pollution.
DBTG Upcoming Event: Operational & Technical Conference
On the 11th of November 2024, DBTG will be hosting Conference Day #1 in the IMO offices. A number of important topics will be discussed, including safety for terminal workers and seafarers and safe interaction between terminals and vessels. Furthermore, how lighting on terminals and aboard vessels contributes to the safety of all workers and seafarers. The conference will continue on Nov 12th at the iconic Shard building.
