Nectar Mozambique Celebrates Workers’ Day

Honouring the People Behind Our Progress: On 1 May, Nectar Mozambique marked International Workers’ Day by recognising the dignity, dedication, and resilience of workers in Beira, across Mozambique, and throughout Nectar’s global team.

The day was also a moment to honour the generations who fought to improve working conditions and to thank all colleagues whose hard work, collaboration, and commitment have driven Nectar’s success over the past year. We are proud that improvements in our working standards were recognised by our client, Cornelder, reflecting the strength of our shared effort and the value of teamwork across the organisation.

We also reaffirmed our commitment to the priorities that matter most:

  • Occupational health and safety — ensuring that every worker returns home safely
  • Professional growth and fair recognition — supporting dignified conditions and opportunities to develop
  • Open social dialogue — built on respect, transparency, and the importance of listening to workers’ voices

While we celebrate progress, we remain focused on continuous improvement and on strengthening the capability and value of Nectar every day.

To all our colleagues at Nectar Mozambique and across all our global organisations, we extend our sincere thanks for your dedication, discipline, and team spirit. The success of Nectar is the success of each one of us.
