On Saturday, 18 July, Nectar Mozambique proudly took part in the 8th Edition of Legua da Beira, one of Mozambique’s largest sporting events, bringing together nearly 4,000 national and international athletes in a powerful celebration of sport, health and community spirit.
We were delighted to see 15 Nectar Mozambique employees take on the 7.2km course and athletics competition, representing the company with energy, commitment and enthusiasm.
Special congratulations go to Amelia and Antonio Alexandre for achieving outstanding results and meeting the minimum time.
The event is organised by Cornelder de Moçambique, with technical support from Pérola Negra and the Sofala Provincial Athletics Association (APAS). Thank you to all the organisers, volunteers and partners for another great event.
Running for Health
Held under the theme “Running for Health,” Legua da Beira continues to make a meaningful impact beyond sport. With its Health Fair, free screenings and community-focused activities, the event promotes physical activity, disease prevention and healthier lifestyles while strengthening ties between businesses and the communities they serve.
