Nectar Mozambique Limitada hosted an educational and fun programme for forty-seven children in support of International Children’s Day. The festivities included a visit and tour of Beira Airport and Beira Green Park. The recently opened park runs along both banks of the Chiveve River, offering playgrounds, open-air gymnasiums, and multi-use sports fields.
The children were pleased to take part in an oral health activity led by a dentist, followed by entertainment, games, lunch and a donation of school supplies.
International Children’s Day is celebrated annually on June 1 in different parts of the world as an initiative for children’s well-being and rights.
